NOT ALL METAL TANKS ARE CREATED EQUALLY

Many metal water storage tanks are imported into the US or manufactured using steel sourced from countries that do not comply with U.S. standards and regulations, including the Buy American Act (BAA) and Build America, Buy America (BABA).

We take pride in sourcing our materials domestically—from our steel to our liners—prioritizing partnerships with American companies. Our made-in-the-US water storage tanks regularly meet or exceed the requirements of BAA and BABA, allowing us to deliver American-made water storage tanks that are superior in design, engineering, and appearance when compared to competitors relying on foreign or alternative material sources.

PREMIUM MATERIALS ARE OUR STANDARD

All CorGal water storage tanks are engineered to these minimum standards:

  • G-115 hot dipped galvanization
  • 20-gauge steel sidewalls
  • 24-gauge steel roof panels
  • Designated bottom wall sheets to better distribute weight
  • Full tank geotextile preliner
  • 24 mil PVC flexible membrane liner
  • Schedule 80 PVC flanges or hot-dipped galvanized steel flanges

TANKS ENGINEERED SITE SPECIFIC

We offer a thorough, site specific structural design calculation package (SDCP), stamped by a professional engineer licensed in the project location state.

This ensures each tank is built to the location’s specific requirements and complies with local ordinances and laws, protecting all parties.

Site specific tanks may incorporate thicker metal wall sheets or roof panels, stiffeners, heavy duty anchors, and other components to satisfy the local seismic, wind speed and live load requirements.

We take engineering very seriously for the safety and security of all parties involved.
